Hi, I’m Larry Hay creator of live edge river tables and more. I live near Ashville, Ohio which is south of Columbus by about 30miles. I can due custom orders also. Here is a little information about my business! I do accept credit cards now!

Reclaimed trees from surrounding areas to trees that need to come down in my fence lines and woods are milled with my Alaskan chainsaw mill with bars from 36” to 72” long.

These slabs are then air dried for 4 to 12 months before they are put in my dehumidifier kiln for final drying.

After achieving a moisture content of below 10 %, I can start to flatten them on my router table.

This one had a rotten area down the middle so I finished splitting it to make a epoxy river table!

After hours of sanding it was time to apply a finish. I choose Osmo polyx oil (gloss) which is a finish with a hard wax in it. I also use oldies oil on some of my other types of wood, mostly maple. I have also used epoxy resin as a flood coat on tables also.

It has transformed into live edge river table with custom square metal tubing legs! $2800(sold)

Here are some more pictures of some of my other projects;

Coffee live edge tables range in price from $300 to $750, pathway or behind sofa tables run from $650 to $850, and kitchen and dining room tables run from $1000 to $4000. I can do custom tables also, give me a call if interested-614 352 6432. I’m located near Ashville, Ohio( 27miles south of Columbus)

Here are some more pictures of slabs that are still drying. The hard maple are from 50” to 60” wide and 8’ long, the ambrosia maple are 24” to 36” wide by 10’ long.( some of both are in the kiln and should be about dry!)

My newest live edge with the first coat of osmo polyx oil on the bottom side. After another one or two coats of osmo will flip it over to due the top!

Finally did the top with 3 coats of osmo polyx oil gloss, now waiting on the custom steel tubing square legs to arrive!
